5. SS Jeremiah O’Brian and USS Pampanito
These are two World War II icons docked at Fisherman’s Wharf. SS Jeremiah O’Brian is one of 2,710 built, but it is of only two fully-functioning ships left. You can have guided tours of this historical ship. USS Pampanito is a submarine from World War II, it is known to have sank six Japanese ships. It is open for tours seven days of the week. This is an experience that is historically rich and surreal.
